A lady aged 35 with concerns of hair loss in patches on her scalp since a month. This is alopecia areata.
Alopecia : Its an Autoimmune condition characterized by circular patches with smooth skin and loss of hair. It can involve eyebrows, eyelashes, beard area or even hair on any area of the body.”
Treatment : Some topical lotions , oral multivitamins and advised her to do PRP for scalp along with steroidal injections in between. The picture on the left is before the treatment began, and the picture on the right shows signs of improvement after the treatment.
