    LASER (light amplification through the stimulated emission of radiation) may sounds pretty technical but all that means is, it’s a focused optimized beam of light

    For hair removal, the photons are getting absorbed by the hair follicles. Because of that the follicle heats up and singes the hair. And it slowly burns the hair down to the root effectively by killing the surrounding follicle and disabling the hair from ever growing again.

    Visible effects are noticeable post 6 to 10 treatments. Because laser is absorbed by the melanin present in the growing hairs. The resting hairs take 3-4 weeks to reach growing stage. Hence treatment is required to be repeated after 4-6 week.

    It would only appear costly in comparison to the other alternative available in the market in short run. Considering the long term and recurrent cost of other treatments, laser hair removal in most cost effective.

    Before the treatment one should avoid other modes of hair removal treatment for at least 3 weeks and tanning of skin.

    In some case redness of the skin may occur which easily get subsided by the use cream.

    Laser treatment has ability to destroy existing hairs because of the presence of melanin. But there is a possibility of future hair growth after laser but at a slower pace and hairs will be finer and only maintenance session within 6 months to a year will be enough for the smooth skin.
