Mesotherapy Treatment
What is Mesotherapy Treatment?
Mesotherapy is a cosmetic technique involving injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts to rejuvenate, tighten skin, and remove excess fat. The term ‘mesotherapy’ is derived from the Latin words ‘meso’ and ‘therapy’, and refers to a procedure performed on the middle layer of the skin using a needle, similar to acupuncture.
The technique was developed by Michel Pistor, a doctor in France, in 1952 to relieve pain, but it has since gained popularity for aesthetic purposes. During the treatment, very fine needles are used to inject a series of natural plant extracts, vitamins, or medicines like Finasteride and Minoxidil into the middle layer (mesoderm) of the skin.
The idea behind mesotherapy is to correct underlying issues such as poor circulation and inflammation that cause skin damage. In addition to treating wrinkles and excess fat, mesotherapy can also be used to address hair loss from alopecia. This non-surgical cosmetic solution is FDA-approved and is administered via multiple injections.
Mesotherapy is considered a safe and effective way to address various skin and body concerns, including cellulite, excess weight, body contouring, and face/neck rejuvenation. It is an aesthetic procedure that claims to work wonders for the face and is known for its ability to make the skin appear bright, healthy, and youthful.
