Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are considered one of the most minimally-invasive procedures to reduce the appearance of acne scars and other imperfections on the skin. These naturally-derived injectables usually have hyaluronic acid for a base. They help even out the creases and furrow lines on the forehead and eyebrows, remove eye-bags and under-eye hollows caused by those sleepless nights that wedding preparations bring with it.

Every session is about 30-45 minutes long, depending upon the area treated and the amount injectable used. You can easily resume normal activities post-treatment, however, avoid strenuous movements and direct exposure to sun rays.

The after-procedure result can be seen immediately, and it lasts for 8-12 months. It’s recommended to get the procedure done 4-6 months before the wedding so that even the slightest chance of allergy or reactions can be stricken out.

Laser Rejuvenation Treatments

Nd: YAG is a non-ablative laser, which means there’s no break in skin tissue during the procedure. It is designed to target pigment cells. Thermage

Thermage is an FDA-approved radiofrequency procedure that tightens the skin and reduces wrinkles and other sign of ageing. The procedure is initiated by delivering direct current to the skin surface. When the current is met by the cell of the area, a resistance is created that converts the radiofrequency energy into heat energy.

This heat denatures collagen in the lower skin layers, and your body clears it out. This initial effect does not last long. However, 2-3 weeks after the procedure, denatured collagen signals skin fibroblasts to produce new, healthy collagen, leading to the tightening of the skin, which can be seen after a few months of the procedure.

It is a painless, non-invasive procedure that requires no downtime. A session can take anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours depending on the area to be covered. Another great thing about Thermage is that unlike laser skin tightening procedures, it does not require repeated sittings to achieve desired results. However, brides are recommended to wait 4 to 6 months for the tightening and collagen growth to be complete, before the D-day.

As subcutaneous fat cells are more vulnerable to the effects of low temperature compared to the other tissue, cooling is a safe process for reducing body fat and allowing for body contouring without damaging other cells and tissues. It is a non-surgical alternative to liposuction.

Experts recommend that a bride should schedule a session 3-6 months in advance. The results aren’t usually visible immediately after the procedure, but fat loss reaches its peak around 6-7 weeks. .
